The new Brute X-Pander allows you to install your own couplers in-house, eliminating the need to ship your hose off for repair. Drawbar assemblies (necessary to expand the expansion rings) are not included with the expander machine, please see our selection of drawbar assemblies. The Brute X-Pander replaces the Brute 1, and is a compact and lightweight hand expansion unit (45lbs - 32% lighter than the Brute 1), that is ideal for smaller in-house hose repair needs. The Brute X-Pander requires 50% fewer strokes to expand and 75% fewer strokes to release than the Brute 1. The Handle on this unit swings for left or right hand operation.
