Your Responsibility Code has been updated to better reflect the language and operational changes to snowsports that have occurred since the last update. The recent, 18-month update process involved risk management, legal, and human factors experts from both inside and outside the ski industry. The newest version of Your Responsibility Code also aligns more closely with Canada's Alpine Responsibility Code, reducing confusion for our guests and creating cohesion among the North American ski industry.

NSAA encourages all ski areas across the country to understand and adopt this new Code in the 2022-23 season. Your employees will be your best ambassadors for the Code with your guests. NSAA will continue to provide guidance and resources for ski area operators to help train both guests and staff to know the Code.
